About Us
Ram Radhey Foundation is a society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 with registration number S/1631/2017.The management team of RRF includes retired civil servants, academicians, medical practitioners, rural development professionals, textile designers, sports persons and management graduates from top Indian institutions and corporates.
What We Do
RRF team conceptualises and executes programs aimed at making health facilities and educational tools more accessible for the underprivileged.
- In health, our programs include organisation of medical camps, health services aid at the time of disasters and assessment services for existing facilities in government and private sectors
- We also attempt to help the disabled by distributing requisite aids / equipment to them as well as imparting training to the physically challenged in everyday / life skills.
- Programs for better management of old age homes are also in the pipeline.
- In education, programs focus on imparting training to school drop-outs through innovative tools.
Going forward, the Foundation also aspires to help micro and small enterprises in export promotion.
Our Team
RRF is headed by Dr. Vinod Aggarwal. He is a 1980 batch Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officer who retired as Secretary, Government of India. His last posting was Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. He has served as District Magistrate of Darbhanga (1987-88), Collector & DM of Vaishali (1990-91), Director, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilisers, Department of Chemicals & Petro-Chemicals (1994-97), Secretary in Department of Health & Family Welfare (2000-01), Joint Secretary & CEO in Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (2005-07), CVO at Engineers India Ltd. (2009-12) and Chairman in State Finance Commissioner of Ranchi and Additional Chief Secretary looking after Technical Education in Jharkhand. Prior to joining the Indian Administrative Services, he completed his MBBS from AIIMS. He has also done Post Graduation in International Trade from Australia and has also recently completed PG Diploma in Geriatric Medicine. He passion lies in designing innovating solutions that assist specially-abled individuals.
He is assisted by other senior members from the education fraternity who specialise in curriculum design, teaching methodology, teacher training etc.
